Switzerland
Majestic mountains, green woodlands, crystal clear lakes, roaming vineyards, breathtaking landscapes and enchanting cities – Switzerland has it all. Located in the hearted of Europe, Switzerland has Paris, London, Amsterdam, Rome and Madrid at its doorstep, as all are within an hour flight.

Population and Cities
Switzerland's population of 7.2 million is divided into 3 main regions, with French, German and Italian respectively, being the official languages. The capital of Switzerland is Bern (Berne). There are total of 26 states (Canton) in Switzerland. The largest state is Graubunden, an area of 7,106 square kilometers; the smallest one is Basel-Stadt in Basle, an area of 37 square kilometers. The most populated state is Zurich, the number of residents are estimated to be 1.2 million.

Language
Switzerland has four official languages: German (64 percent), French (19 percent), Italian (8 percent) and Romanish (1%), the use of English is also very common.

Traffic
Switzerland has one of the most developed public transport facilities in the world with its extensive transportation network across the country. Switzerland has three international airports, which are located in Zurich, Geneva and Basel. It takes about 13 hours flight from major China cities to Zurich, and another 45 minutes from Zurich airport to Geneva.
